Spider Shepherd

Stephen Leather is a British author known for his action thrillers and crime novels. Born in 1956, he initially worked as a journalist and copywriter before pursuing writing full-time. Leather's debut novel, "The Chinaman," was published in 1992 and introduced the character of Dan "Spider" Shepherd, an intelligence officer. The novel became an international bestseller and spawned a series of sequels featuring Shepherd. Over his career, Leather has written numerous successful thrillers, including the "Jack Nightingale," "The Bombmaker," and "The Executioner" series. His books have been translated into over 20 languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide.
