John Ringo (born March 27, 1963) is a prominent American science fiction author. His works primarily explore the military science fiction genre. Growing up in Chicago, Ringo developed a passion for science fiction and warfare. After serving in the US Army, he pursued a writing career, publishing his debut novel, "There Will Be Dragons," in 2001.
