C.M. Sutter is an American author known for his literary fiction and essays. Born in 1981, he holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. Sutter's first novel, "Still Life," was published in 2011 to critical acclaim, winning the John Dos Passos Prize for Literature.
