About the Author
C.M. Sutter is an American author known for his literary fiction and essays. Born in 1981, he holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. Sutter's first novel, "Still Life," was published in 2011 to critical acclaim, winning the John Dos Passos Prize for Literature. His short story collection, "Dearly," was released in 2015 and shortlisted for the 2016 Story Prize. Sutter's writing explores themes of family, loss, and memory. His work has been praised for its emotional depth, evocative prose, and nuanced exploration of complex characters. He has received recognition from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Rona Jaffe Foundation.
