Janette Oke (née Oke Steinkamp) is a Canadian Christian romance novelist. Born in Champion, Alberta, she moved to the United States in 1969 with her husband, Edward. Oke began writing in 1977 and has since published over 150 novels, mostly within her core series, Love Comes Softly.
