About Denise Mina
Denise Mina (born 1966) is a Scottish crime fiction writer. A former journalist and community worker, Mina turned to writing in 1998. Her debut novel, "Garnethill," introduced Detective Inspector Alex Morrow and won the John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger Award for Best First Novel.
