About the Author
Val McDermid is a world-renowned Scottish crime writer, known as the Queen of Crime, famous for the Tony Hill/Carol Jordan series and the Karen Pirie cold-case mysteries. She has won the CWA Gold Dagger and Diamond Dagger for lifetime achievement.
