Julia Buckley is an American author of historical novels. Born in 1965 in West Virginia, Buckley developed a passion for history and storytelling at a young age. She earned a BA in history from West Virginia University and later worked as a journalist. In 2010, she published her debut novel, "The Relic Master." Her subsequent works include "The Historian's Daughter" (2012), "The Innkeeper's Wife" (2014), and "The Goldsmith's Daughter" (2016). Buckley's novels are praised for their historical accuracy, vivid characters, and engaging plots. She has been featured in publications such as The Washington Post, NPR, and BBC History Magazine. "The Innkeeper's Wife" was nominated for the Mary Higgins Clark Award and selected by NPR as one of the Top 10 Historical Fiction Novels of 2014.
