Robin Stevens is a British author of historical mysteries for children and young adults. Born in 1984, she studied English at Oxford University. After working in publishing and teaching, she turned to writing full-time. Stevens is best known for her "Murder Most Unladylike" series, featuring two intrepid schoolgirls who solve crimes in the 1930s. The first book in the series, "Murder Is Bad Manners," won the Crime Writers' Association Debut Dagger Award in 2014. Subsequent books have been met with critical acclaim, receiving praise for their clever plotting, vivid characters, and nostalgic charm. Stevens has also written contemporary mysteries, including "The Guggenheim Mystery" and "The London Eye Mystery." Her work has been translated into over 20 languages and sold millions of copies worldwide.
