Trixie Koontz

Dean Koontz (born July 9, 1945) is an American author whose works span multiple genres, including horror, suspense, thrillers, and science fiction. Born in Everett, Pennsylvania, Koontz began writing in the early 1960s while serving in the Army. He published his first novel, "Star Quest," in 1968 and has since written over 100 books. Notable works include "Watchers" (1987), "Lightning" (1988), "Intensity" (1995), and the Odd Thomas series. His books have sold over 450 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 38 languages. Koontz has received numerous awards, including the Bram Stoker Award for Lifetime Achievement (2007), the Thriller Master Award (2012), and the International Horror Guild Award for Lifetime Achievement (2018).
