Diane Kelly, born in 1954, is an award-winning American novelist and journalist. She graduated from the University of Colorado and worked as a reporter before turning to fiction. Kelly's debut novel, "The Blue Room," won the 1999 Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award and was critically acclaimed for its psychological depth and atmospheric writing.
