Helen Hardt (1867-1933) was an American author best known for her children's literature. Born in New Jersey, she wrote over 30 novels, many of which featured strong female characters in adventurous settings. Her most famous work, "Heidi's Children," a sequel to Johanna Spyri's classic "Heidi," sold over a million copies worldwide. Hardt also authored short stories, scripts, and articles, receiving recognition for her charming and engaging writing style.
