Carl Weber (born March 20, 1964) is an American author known for his urban fiction novels. Born in Queens, New York, Weber grew up in Harlem and the Bronx. He began writing in the early 1990s and published his first novel, "Baby Girl," in 1995. Since then, he has written over 50 novels, including the "Family Business" and "Kingpins" series. Weber's novels explore the lives of African-Americans in urban settings, often dealing with themes of love, crime, and redemption. His work has received critical acclaim for its authenticity and portrayal of real-life issues. Weber has won numerous awards, including the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work in Fiction and the Blackboard Fiction Award.
