Simon R. Green is an English fantasy and science fiction author. Known for his prolific writing, Green has published over 100 novels and numerous short stories. Born in 1955, Green developed a passion for writing at a young age. He initially pursued a career in journalism but eventually transitioned to full-time writing. Green's notable works include the Nightside series, featuring the private investigator John Taylor; the Hawk & Fisher trilogy, a dystopian science fiction series; and the Deathstalker series, a dark fantasy epic. He has won numerous awards, including the British Fantasy Award for Best Novel in 2002 for "Blue Moon Rising."
