T. Davis Bunn is an American author, speaker, and podcaster. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, he began playing guitar and singing in bars and honky-tonks. He transitioned to writing humor, music, and other features for newspapers and magazines. In 2018, Bunn published his debut novel, "The War of the Encyclopaedists," which won the 2019 American Fiction Award for Best Historical Fiction and the 2019 Independent Book Award for Historical Fiction. His podcast, "T. Davis Bunn, Author," launched in 2020.
