Andy McDermott is an English thriller writer. He was born in 1974 and raised in Preston, Lancashire. McDermott started writing at a young age, and his first novel, "The Hunt for Atlantis," was published in 2004. Since then, he has written over 20 novels, including the Nina Wilde and Eddie Chase series. McDermott's novels have been translated into over 30 languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide. He has been praised for his fast-paced plots, well-developed characters, and vivid descriptions. In 2009, he was awarded the WHSmith Thumping Good Read Award for his novel "The Lazarus Key." McDermott is considered one of the most successful thriller writers in the world.
