Jonathan Maberry is an American author, editor, comic book writer, and professor who has written over 30 novels, including "Patient Zero" and "Joe Ledger." He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Bram Stoker Award, the Scribe Award, and the International Horror Guild Award. Maberry was born in 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began writing at an early age, and by the time he was in college, he had sold his first short story to a national magazine. After graduating, he worked as a journalist and editor before turning to writing full-time. Maberry's work has been praised for its suspenseful storytelling, well-drawn characters, and social commentary. He is a master of horror and suspense, and his novels have been translated into over 20 languages.
