Denise Grover Swank is an American author best known for her contemporary romance novels. She has sold over 2 million copies of her books worldwide and has been translated into over 20 languages. Swank was born in Lancaster, California, and raised in a small town in Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in journalism. After working as a journalist for several years, she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author. Swank's first novel, "With You", was published in 2011. It was an instant bestseller and launched her career as a successful romance author. Since then, she has written over 30 books, including the popular "Colorado Mountain" series and the "The Accord" series.
