Chloe Neill is an American author of paranormal romance and urban fantasy novels. She is best known for her Chicagoland Vampires series, which follows the adventures of Merit, a vampire lawyer who works for the supernatural community in Chicago. Neill was born in Texas and grew up in California. She earned a degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and worked as a journalist before becoming a full-time writer. The Chicagoland Vampires series has been a critical and commercial success, with over 2 million copies sold worldwide. The series has been translated into more than 20 languages and has been adapted into a graphic novel and a video game.
