Brenda Novak is a prolific American romance novelist with over 90 published works. Born in 1957 in Maryland, she initially pursued a career in nursing before turning to writing in 1991. Her debut novel, "The Texan's Touch," was published in 1992 and quickly became a bestseller. Since then, Novak has written numerous successful series, including "MacAllister" and "Whispering Creek." Her books have sold over 30 million copies worldwide and have been translated into more than 20 languages.
