Lynds began her writing career in the late 1990s with the publication of her debut novel, "Masquerade." The book was an instant success, earning critical acclaim for its intricate plot and compelling characters. She followed this up with a string of successful thrillers, including "The Covenant" (2001), "Messiah" (2004), and "The Last Dance" (2009). Lynds's novels have been translated into dozens of languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the International Thriller Writers Award for Best Novel in 2005 for "Messiah" and the Strand Critics Award for Best Crime Novel in 2010 for "The Last Dance."
