Charlie Hood

T. Jefferson Parker is an American author known for his mystery and thriller novels. Born in 1953 in Los Angeles, California, he studied English at Occidental College and worked as a newspaper reporter for the Orange County Register before pursuing writing full-time. Parker's notable works include "Laguna Heat" (1985), the first in his series featuring Detective Virgil Flowers, and "California Girl" (2000), which won the Edgar Award for Best Mystery Novel and was adapted into a TV movie. His novels often explore the dark underbelly of California's culture and society. With over 20 novels published, Parker has received critical acclaim for his sharp prose, complex characters, and suspenseful storytelling.
