Stephanie Laurens is the pseudonym of Stephanie Louise Dodd, a prolific New Zealand romance novelist. Born in Auckland in 1951, she began her writing career in 1990 and quickly became renowned for her historical romance novels set in the Regency era. Laurens is best known for her series "The Cynster Family Chronicles," featuring the adventures of a wealthy and charismatic family. Her other notable works include "The Bastion Club" series and the "Black Cobra Quartet."
