Brad Meltzer is an American author, historian, and television producer. Born in 1970 in Brooklyn, New York, he graduated from Columbia University and the University of Oxford. Meltzer is known for his successful thriller novels, which often feature historical mysteries and conspiracy theories. His notable works include "The First Conspiracy" (1998), "The Book of Lies" (2008), and "The President's Shadow" (2016). He has also written non-fiction books on history and conspiracy theories, such as "The Ten Best Conspiracies Ever" (2008) and "A History of America in Ten Objects" (2018). Meltzer's books have been translated into over 30 languages and sold millions of copies worldwide. He has received numerous awards, including the Edgar Award for Best First Novel for "The First Conspiracy." His television productions include "Decoded" (2010-2012) and "Brad Meltzer's Lost History" (2017-present).
