About Nele Neuhaus

Nele Neuhaus is a German crime fiction writer. Born in 1967 in Paderborn, Germany, she initially pursued a career in hotel management before turning to writing. Neuhaus's debut novel, "Snow White Must Die" (2010), was an instant bestseller in Germany and abroad. It introduced her signature characters, police officers Oliver von Bodenstein and Pia Kirchhoff, who feature in all of her subsequent novels. Neuhaus has published over ten crime novels, including the popular "God's Will" (2013) and "The Night Fire" (2016). Her books have been translated into over 30 languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide. Neuhaus has received numerous awards for her work, including the MIMI Award for Best German Crime Novel in 2011 and 2014. Her novels have been praised for their suspenseful plots, well-developed characters, and insights into contemporary German society.
