Alien Huntress

Gena Showalter is an American author known for her paranormal and fantasy romance novels. Born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, in 1975, Showalter began writing at a young age. She entered and won her first romance writing contest at the age of seventeen. In 2006, she published her debut novel, "Heart of the Dragon," the first in her "Lords of the Underworld" series. The series became a critical and commercial success, selling over one million copies worldwide. She has since written numerous other series, including "Angels of the Dark," "Intertwined," and "The Forest of Good and Evil." Showalter has received numerous awards and accolades for her work, including the RITA Award from the Romance Writers of America and the National Reader's Choice Award from Romantic Times Book Reviews. Her novels have been translated into multiple languages and have topped bestseller lists.
