Alex Delaware

Jonathan Kellerman is an American psychologist and bestselling author of psychological thrillers. Born in 1949 in New York City, he earned a doctorate in psychology from the University of Southern California and worked as a child psychologist before turning to writing. Kellerman's novels feature the forensic psychologist Alex Delaware and his detective partner Milo Sturgis. His debut, "When the Bough Breaks" (1985), introduced the beloved characters and became an instant bestseller. Since then, Kellerman has written over 40 novels, including the "Clay Edison" series and stand-alone works like "Billy Straight" (1998). Kellerman's books have won numerous awards, including the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best First Novel, the Anthony Award for Best Mystery Novel, and the Macavity Award for Best Mystery Novel.
