**Rebecca Tope** (born 1978) is a British-American author. Born in London and raised in New York City, Tope attended Harvard University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Her debut novel, **The Last of the Moon Girls**, won the 2011 Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award for First Fiction.
