Paul Tremblay is an American horror and dark fantasy author known for his unsettling and thought-provoking works. Born in 1971 in Rhode Island, Tremblay worked as a paralegal and wrote horror fiction in his spare time before his breakout novel, "A Head Full of Ghosts" (2015), gained critical acclaim. Tremblay's works explore themes of grief, loss, and the complexities of family. His notable works include the Bram Stoker Award-winning novel "The Cabin at the End of the World" (2018), the Shirley Jackson Award-winning "The Sacrament" (2017), and the Bram Stoker Award-nominated "Growing Things" (2021).
