Paul Cleave is a New Zealand crime fiction author. Born in Christchurch, Cleave worked as a social worker before turning to writing. His debut novel, "The Cleaner," was published in 2006 and became a bestseller. Since then, Cleave has written several more successful novels, including "The Killing Hour," "Blood Men," and "The Laughterhouse." His books have been translated into over 20 languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide.
