About the Author
Meg Gardiner is an American author known for her crime fiction and thrillers. Born in 1964, she holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and worked as a therapist before turning to writing. Gardiner's debut novel, "The Shadow Hour," won the Edgar Award for Best First Novel in 2009. She has since published over 10 novels, including the popular "Josie Quinn" series. Her work has been critically acclaimed for its suspense, intricate plotting, and strong female characters. Gardiner's awards include the Edgar Award, the Thriller Award for Best Paperback Original, and the Lefty Award for Best Debut Mystery Novel. Her books have been translated into over 20 languages and have been adapted into television shows.
