Lars Kepler is the pseudonym for the Swedish husband-and-wife writing team Alexander Ahndoril and Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril. Lars Kepler's debut novel, "The Hypnotist" (2009), was an international bestseller, translated into over 40 languages. It introduced Detective Inspector Joona Linna, a complex and enigmatic character who also features in subsequent novels in the series.
