About the Author
Kristina Ohlsson (born 1979) is a Swedish crime fiction writer and journalist. Before writing, Ohlsson worked as a political adviser and diplomat. She began writing in 2003 and has since published several successful crime novels, including the Fredrika Bergman series and the Alex Recht series. Ohlsson's novels have been praised for their fast-paced plots, well-developed characters, and social commentary. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Glass Key Award (2014) for her novel "Unwanted" and the Golden Key Award (2017) for her novel "Partisan." Ohlsson's books have been translated into more than 30 languages and have sold over five million copies worldwide. She is considered one of the leading crime writers in Sweden and has achieved critical acclaim for her ability to combine suspense with social and political issues.
