John Hart is an American author known for his suspenseful thrillers and Southern Gothic novels. Born in Durham, North Carolina, in 1965, he studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hart's debut novel, "The King of Lies," was published in 2006 and received critical acclaim.
