About the Author
Jess Lourey is an American author best known for her dark, suspenseful novels. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Iowa. Lourey's debut novel, "The Catalpa Tree," was published in 2014 and was met with critical acclaim. It was followed by "Bloodline" (2017), which was awarded the Anthony Award for Best First Novel. Her third novel, "Unspeakable Things" (2019), further solidified her reputation as a master of suspense.
