About the Author
Charles Cumming is a British thriller writer born in Scotland in 1971. He studied English Literature at Oxford University and worked as an investment banker before turning to writing. Cumming's debut novel, "A Spy by Nature," was published in 2001 and introduced his protagonist Alec Milius, a former MI6 agent. The novel was a critical and commercial success, launching a series that has sold over six million copies worldwide. Cumming's subsequent novels have continued to feature Milius and other espionage characters. Notable works include "The Trinity Six" (2006), "The Siberian Candidate" (2009), and "The Man Between" (2022). Cumming's novels have received critical acclaim for their fast-paced plots, sharp characterization, and insights into the world of espionage. He has won several awards, including the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award for "The Man Between," and his books have been translated into numerous languages.
