Barbara Erskine is an English author known for her historical novels, particularly those that explore past lives and reincarnation. Born in 1952, she studied English at the University of Oxford before working as a librarian and writer. Erskine's breakthrough novel, "Lady of Hay," published in 1986, established her as a leading voice in the genre of historical fiction.
