Abby Jimenez is a Filipino-American contemporary romance novelist. Her debut novel The Friend Zone (2019) became a New York Times bestseller. She has won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Romance and the Minnesota Book Award. The Romance Writers of America discontinued the RITA Awards before her major success; she has not won RITA Awards.
